Seasons Greetings

A Christmas Note from Us

As the year draws to a close and the paddocks begin to feel just a little frostier, we wanted to say a genuine thank you for being part of our Bath Country Pets family. To our most loyal members, please keep an eye on your letterbox over the coming days, Father Christmas has outsourced a few deliveries this year, and we’ve been happy to help.

We have a full hotel throughout the festive season and are very much looking forward to lots of crisp morning walks, cosy afternoons, paw-party games and plenty of good times with our special guests. Neil and I would also like to extend a special thank you to our wonderful team. They work tirelessly for our small family business and, however fairly we try to allocate annual leave, many of them miss out on precious family time over the festive period. We are incredibly grateful to them, as always. Your kind words, cards, gifts and tokens of appreciation mean a great deal.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re very much looking forward to welcoming in the New Year and opening our doors just a little wider. On Saturday 24th January 2026, between 8.00am and 10.00am, we’ll be hosting a mini open house for clients who have joined us within the last 12 months and would enjoy a quiet look behind the scenes. It will be a relaxed, informal coffee morning and a lovely opportunity to see how the hotel runs before the dogs arrive and settle into their day.

That same weekend, our countryside store will be holding a grand sale of ex-display and discontinued stock. Expect generous discounts of up to 60% on selected beds and blankets, along with special offers on winter coats and fleeces. It’s the perfect chance to snap up something cosy while we make space for what’s coming next.

PS. A Festive Reminder
The festive season is a jolly one, but it does come with a few hidden hazards for our four-legged friends. A gentle reminder to keep chocolate, mince pies, cooked bones, raisins, alcohol, festive plants and discarded wrapping safely out of reach. Over-excited dogs, rich food and unexpected visitors can be a perfect storm for emergency vet visits and we’d much rather everyone stays curled up safely at home. Calm routines, familiar food and sensible treats really are the best way to avoid any drama.

Until then, we wish you and your dogs a calm, happy and safe Christmas, filled with muddy walks, warm fireside cuddles and absolutely no unexpected vet trips.

Warmest wishes,
Emma & Neil
