After the success of our first Bath Country Pets community walk, we are delighted to be planning the next two. The feedback from those who joined us was genuinely lovely to receive. One message in particular stayed with us:
“We would 100% be interested in more walks. We absolutely loved it and thought it was so well organised and beautifully done.”
Hearing how much everyone enjoyed the walk (both the humans and the dogs) made it clear that we had to organise more. Community, fresh air, happy dogs and good conversation is exactly what these walks are all about.
This time, we’ve planned not one but two new walks, each with a slightly different setting and route so we can explore even more of the beautiful countryside around us.
Walk 1: Westonbirt Arboretum
Wednesday 25th March
We will be meeting at the beautiful Westonbirt Arboretum for a peaceful midweek walk.
Rather than following the busier paved routes, we will wander through some of our favourite quieter paths, including a few lesser known trails we often enjoy with our hotel guests. It is a lovely way to experience a calmer side of the arboretum, with plenty for curious noses to investigate along the way.
Afterwards, anyone who would like to is very welcome to join us for coffee and a relaxed chat in the café.
Entry Information:

Meeting point: Inside the main entrance, once you’ve parked, popped your wellies on, and you’re ready to walk, simply head through the entrance and you’ll see us there.
Walk 2: The White Hart, Ford → Castle Combe
Wednesday 22nd April
Our second walk will bring us back to the lovely The White Hart, which many of you will remember from our last community walk.
This time, we’ll change up the route and head in the opposite direction towards the beautiful village of Castle Combe.
Meeting point: White Hart Ford, At the overflow carpark on the right, we’ll meet at 10:00am with the walk starting at 10:15am.
At the end of the walk, you’re very welcome to join us for a coffee in the outdoor seating area. If you’d like to stay for a meal afterwards, we recommend contacting the pub directly to reserve a table.
Everyone Is Welcome
These walks are all about bringing our dog-loving community together. Whether you came to the first walk or you missed out last time, we would absolutely love to see you and your dogs there.
There’s no pressure, no rush, just a relaxed walk, friendly faces, wagging tails, and good conversation.
We can’t wait to do it all again.
See you there!
