A Festive Note from Bath Country Pets

The twinkling lights may have been up for a few weeks now, but we are very much still in the festive spirit here at Bath Country Pets. Our recent Christmas Shopping Faire set the tone beautifully, Rhiannon’s photos captured the so many doggy visitors looking festive, the pup nog was as delicious as ever, and it was a real joy to welcome so many of you who came by to design a stocking for your dog, browse for gifts or simply stop in for a chat. The warmth of those few days is still very much with us, and our shop remains dressed for Christmas and brimming with new arrivals and country-inspired favourites.

What’s New in Store

We have welcomed in a range of gorgeous new stock for the season, including our embroidered dog-walking socks featuring the sweetest little breed designs. They make an ideal stocking filler and have been flying off the shelves already.

For those refreshing your dog’s sleeping quarters in time for the New Year, we are offering a special December promotion: purchase any one of our own brand Heritage Beds this month and you can add a spare cover for half price. A practical way to keep things looking smart while one is in the wash.

We have also produced a brand-new brochure for our online shop — a beautifully presented little guide to our favourite products for dogs and their owners. It has been thoughtfully put together and is a lovely item to browse through with a cup of something warm. You are very welcome to pop in and collect a copy, or if you prefer, drop us a line and we will happily send you a PDF version.

Festive Fun with The Little Theatre, Bath

For anyone planning a cosy afternoon in the cinema with their four-legged companion, The Little Theatre has launched a brilliant series of dog-friendly screenings featuring Christmas classics such as Home Alone, Elf and The Muppet Christmas Carol.

To keep everyone comfortable, they’ll provide a fleece blanket for your seat (or the floor), water bowls around the auditorium, slightly brighter lighting and reduced sound levels. Do note that capacity is limited at these screenings and the cinema permits one dog per adult. A Treat We Always Recommend
