As we embrace the heart of spring and look ahead to summer, things are in full swing here at BCP, and we’ve got lots of exciting updates to share. From upcoming events and fresh collaborations to new arrivals in our shop, here’s what’s happening right now in the world of Bath Country Pets.

Catch Us at the Badminton Horse Trials | 7th–11th May

We’re thrilled to be returning to the iconic Badminton Horse Trials this year! It’s always one of our favourite events of the season, and this time, we’ll be in a brand-new location.

You’ll find us in the Eden Crafts Tent, right next to the food and drink village — the perfect spot to browse our latest products and say hello. We’ll have a selection of treats, toys, beds, and more for you to discover.

And the best part? Our founders Emma and Neil will be there to greet you in person. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to the BCP community, we’d love to catch up with you face-to-face.

Bath & West Show | Save the Date: 29th–31st May

Can’t make it to Badminton? No worries — we’ll also be at the Bath and West Show from 29th to 31st May. This fantastic event celebrates rural life and is packed with fun activities for all ages, along with some of the best local businesses.

We’ll be there for the full three days, so bring the whole family and be sure to visit us to see what’s new. We can’t wait to share our latest offerings with you!

Walk, Learn & Grow | Group Walk with Adam from Avon Dog Services

25th May | 11:00 AM | Lansdown Woods

We’re excited to team up with Adam from Avon Dog Services for a special Group Walk & Learn event. This guided walk will help you better understand your dog’s behaviour in real time, with tailored advice on everything from loose lead walking to overexcitement.

Taking place in the serene Lansdown Woods, this event offers the opportunity to:

• Receive real-time support and guidance from Adam and the BCP team

• Build confidence, connection, and calm during walks

• Ask questions and get expert advice on common dog training challenges

This walk is limited to just 6 dogs to ensure a personal and focused experience. Tickets are £30, with a 10% early bird discount available for a limited time, so be sure to secure your spot soon. Email us at admin@bathcountrypets.co.uk to enquire further or reserve your space.

Shop Updates: New Stock & Website Launch

We’ve been busy refreshing and expanding our offerings both in-store and online. This month’s new arrivals include:

• Giddy Goat Ice Creams — A dog-friendly way to cool down and treat your pup

• A brand-new range of toys and treats to keep tails wagging

• Enrichment puzzles designed to challenge and engage active minds

And we’re also thrilled to announce that our new website is launching soon! The updated site will make it even easier to:

We’re excited to share that we’ve walked a total of 543.18 miles during our 500 Miles in April Challenge!
