Our Boutique Dog Hotel has been designed to look aesthetically pleasing and welcoming, to put both pets and their owners at their ease. Imagine a perfect purpose built country retreat for dogs, with underfloor heating for the wintertime and a clean yet cosy atmosphere, utilising the best of modern, sustainable building techniques with a luxury country feel.

We have designed an attractive building with a pitched and gabled roof, featuring a central clock tower. Natural and sustainable materials have been used throughout, and the exterior incorporates design features like a central courtyard leading to a covered barn with large sliding doors that can be opened on to our fields, a shady veranda, timber cladding, ledged and braced doors and plenty of windows for light and ventilation.

One wing of the building houses the dogs’ American-barn-style sleeping quarters with spacious separate rooms, decorated in classic muted country shades. Rooms are well insulated and furnished with sumptuous tweed beds, individual filtered water drinking bowls, toy basket and blankets. The atmosphere is gentle and calming with lavender diffusers and soft classical music to promote a peaceful environment.

The opposite wing incorporates our open plan office and utility areas with storage lockers, a kitchen for food preparation and our emergency suite. It also features a pleasant lounge with comfortable seating and a wood burner, where staff, dogs and their owners can mix and interact. In the future, this room is planned to offer a hub for dog-related events, meetings and activities throughout the year with complimentary tea and coffee on offer.

Outside, the courtyard area incorporates dog-washing facilities under cover after that muddy country walk, and there are safely enclosed meadows, where your dog can run free or relax in the shade on a hot day.

Our little on-site Country Store is well stocked with premium pet foods, treats, toys, clothing, collars and leads and lots of other items that your dog will enjoy, and you are welcome to browse and make purchases when you visit. With a dog-to-staff ratio of three to one, your dog will be closely supervised all day and will receive lots of attention and love. His/her safety will be paramount, and in the unlikely event of a dog becoming unwell, we have a separation suite, where they can be isolated until veterinary attention can be summoned, if needed.

If you live locally, our luxury dog hotel offers your pet day care with just as much fun as they enjoy at home. If you live further afield, in Bath, Bristol, London or any other town or city, we aim to offer your canine best friend a real country break, which will allow you to enjoy a carefree holiday yourself, safe in the knowledge that he or she is safe, well cared for and happy.
